Two encouraing news alerts in my inbox this morning:

1) The article below shows that Cyclopamine has been hard to produce in
quantities, but they have developed a new process that enables them to
produce larger quantities from the roots of the plant quickly and
efficiently. Result:

"This method could meet a very real need within diverse scientific
communities by allowing cyclopamine to become more readily available."

2) "Aplidin, a marine organism-derived compound with potent antimyeloma
activity in vitro and in vivo." They say it has "additive or synergistic
effects with some of the established anti-MM agents".
