Daily water intake is debated

This forum and the beating-myeloma.org site lean toward those issues that are non-conventional in nature for two main reasons. One, the acor and mmasupport list cover conventional therapies and two, my personal experience is dominated by non-conventional issues.

The issue of hydration and how much water a mm survivor should drink each day is debated by many. The article linked below covers both sides of the issue. Like most lifestyle issues, daily hydration is not well studied and probably will never be. Therefore I read articles and studies that I come across and make up my own mind. Because I sauna regularly as part of my detox efforts and for the many reasons outlined in the article below, I drink 50-60 ounces of water each day. David

Lately it has been in vogue to dismiss the advice to drink eight glasses of water a day as a "medical myth," but it's really more a dispute over whether the glass is half-empty or half-full. - Vote & Discuss: How many glasses of water a day do you drink?
