This list often talks about the benefits of supplementation. I have known for years that my testosterone levels are low yet i have been afraid to supplement with testosterone. I think it's well understood that chemotherapy lowers testosterone levels in men.
What finally made me change my mind and begin supplementing with testosterone cream is that the 27 year survivor, John Wagner, told me that he supplements with testosterone. David
This article addresses my main concern.
"Older men who receive testosterone replacement therapy because of low
testosterone are no more likely to get prostate cancer than similarly
aged men not receiving testosterone, a new study found."

David, any chance that John Wagner would write up his story for this forum?

Lisa,
I am sad to say that John's email address did not work went i tried to get back in touch with him. Also no one answer's the phone when I try calling. Does this mean that John is not credible? I don't know.
I tend to think that John doesn't really like to talk about his mm. When I first got John on the phone all those months ago I could tell that he was reluctant to talk to me.Â
Would I come across as some kind of weirdo calling out of the blue, claiming that I ran a foundation and a website about multiple myeloma? Do you think that John was somehow suspect of my motives????????
Oh well. David
I too had the impression that John doesn't like to talk about his
MM. He was pretty short with me when I called him, over a year ago. He
seemed impatient. I got the distinct impression that he didn't want to
be bothered. Sort of, he got himself into remission by himself, we
should too. That was the impression I had. But, it's too bad because I
would think he has a lot to share.
