It seems that curcumin helps many mmers, mgus, smm, to manage their mm. But it also seems that the bioavailability of this supplement impairs its ability to fight myeloma in our bodies. Will a liquid form of curcumin help? DavidÂ
"Curcumin, a yellow spice traditionally used in curries, has
increasingly come under the scientific spotlight in recent years, with
studies investigating its potential benefits for reducing cholesterol
levels, improving cardiovascular health, glucose control and
cancer-fighting abilities.
Sabinsa's AquaSol Curcumin is derived
from rhizomes and standardized for curcuminoids. It has an extract
ration or 4:1 to 5:1. Unlike the other ingredients so far in the
range, AquaSol Curcumin uses a maltodextrin excepient."

Hi David,
I think anytime u can get a liquid the bioavailability is better. Log onto sensiblehealth.com and buy Curcuma tincture. It's awesome as it is mixed with bupleurum and i have been using it for a couple of years as a liver detox and cleanse. It doesn't taste great, but it works. My husband was diagnosed with MM in december and his Kappa light chain fell using 1 tsp in the am and 1 tsp at night. I'm a huge believer for curcuma for liver health.
Ask Dr. Chang how many mgs is delivered per tsp, it doesn't say. Good luck and God Bless.
