Despite Risks, Vitamins Popular With Cancer Patients-Tara Parker-Pope-WSJ
The link below is to Wall Street Journal medical writer Tara Parker-Pope's blog today about supplementation and cancer. This issue is one of the most important and controversial issue debated in the cancer world. This issue is timely as I just received several studies on the subject from Ralph Moss's organization concerdecisions.com.Â
Dr. Moss conducts a thorough study of the topics and i've got 63 oages of studies to go through- i am posting this today because of Tara Parker-Pope's blog and to let members know that this topic is being studied and will be discussed in the sdi's and the blog eventually. The main issues that I will be addressing are:
1) Does supplementation during chemo or radiation make the cancer stronger or weaker in any way?Â
2)Â Does supplementation during chemo/radiation help to protect the surrounding tissue? Is there any evidence that supplementation may help to minimize side effects from therapy?
Please post any other issues that I should try to address while studying these reports. Thanks. DavidÂ
