Nautral Angiogenesis Inhibitors + dex?

I did a further websearch for natural angiogenesis inhibitors and found one that I have forgotten about: Ellagic acid. This is a compound extracted from black raspberry. I had found some reports on that black raspberry has this property. And this, supposedly, is the compound that does it. I could not find any other product except this http://www.altcancer.com/...
Please let me know if you can find something else. So now I will be taking 4 angiogenesis inhibibors: curcumin, resveratrol, C-Statin, and Ellagic Acid. Will this work? I have no idea. But thalidomide alone works only in 30 percent of myeloma patients. But has anyone ever combined these with taking dex, and/or biaxin, for example? Of course not. Most people would just assume that since they do not work by themselves, they would not work in combination. Yet nobody uses this kind of thinking with conventional medication. But that will probably be a future step for me. I also found out I am taking the artemisinin wrong--it is better absorbed with food. I do not quite understand why, as most thinks are better absorbed without food. So I have modiied what I have doing.

My seven year anniversary surviving MM was this May. The M-spike and your ammune system (WBC, RBC, platelets, IgM) are the two targets you want to watch. The thing to remember is currently there is no cure, natural or drug. If anyone has been cured speak up. The game is to keep your M-spike under adequate control that your immune system is not crowded out and you wind up in the hospital with a major infection. When that happens you are taken off all meds and there is nothing to keep the myeloma in check. Trying to be too aggresive just lowers your quality of life and also may lower your immune system to the point you get in trouble.

OK, about thailomide curcumin combination. During my relapse after my stem cell transplant I was put on 150 mg thalidomide. It very slowly lowered my M-spike for about four months until my M-spike was down to 0.9 g/dL (900 mg/dL) from 1.4 g/dL. I then added one capsule, 500 mg Jarrow brand curcuminm daily. My M-spike took a large drop and continued down for the next 2 1/2 years until it was 0.1 g/dL. It then started back up until it was back to 1.4 g/dL last June when I switched to Revlimid.

I am currently on 20 mg Revlimid daily and 20 mg dexamethasone once/week. I just reduced my Revlimid dose to 20 mg from 25 mg because my WBC was down to 2.1. My WBC did come back up to 2.6 in two weeks. Don't know yet if my M-spike is still under control.

I can't stress enough that we are all going through this to enjoy life. Try to find something every day to enjoy. Stress is also our enemy.

Terry-

Congrats on your 7 year anniversary.  It seems to me as if your approach to your mm is a successful integrative approach.  When your switched from thal to revlimid/dex did you continue with your curcumin supplementation?

I hope you will participate in the Curcumin Patient Study.
