Revlimid versus Thalidomide Side effects

I wrote a post similar to this to the acor list, which was censored, as usual.  After that I was booted off permanently, since I told the listserv owner he is NOT a doctor, although more and more he seems to think he is some sort of mm specialist.

At any rate,

Thalidomide

Thalidomide ALONE does not cause DVT nor blood clots

Thalidomide + dex causes both, as does Revlimid (but to a reduce extent)

Thalidomide is NOT hard on the marrow.

Thalidomide put me in in the mental hospital 5 years ago.  More recently I used it, with about the same side effect

Revlimid

Unlike thal, very toxic to the marrow. Question is if that toxicity is everlasting or not.

Reduce both HGB and white counts, the latter to very low levels, which can cause you

to be very susceptible to infections.  This is my current state.

Extreme fatigue is a side effect separate and distinct from the fatigue derived from the

anemia.

Some people have had terrible mental side effects with Revlimid.  I have had none.

Revlimid can do some nasty things--tear off the inside of your mouth by making it peel

cause nasty rashes and other similar things.  It probably does that by reducing the body's

ability to fight these things.

If anyone needs to know where to get thalidomide cheaply, email me details.

This caused me to get kicked off the acor list also, since I questioned the financial relationship that the listowner has with Celgene that charges 50 to 100 dollars for a 45 year old drug, that in   other countries one can get for 7 cents.  Celgene did not develop this drug, and using it against mm was not evern its idea.
