Well, it has been a long time since I have posted here. I am 5 and a half years out from my myeloma diagnosis. I had the TT3 treatment from UAMS Arkansas, but did not return for consolidation treatment. I did get results, but not complete remission. Then, I discovered the research on cancer stem cells.

Bart Barlogie and the myeloma oncs at UAMS have caused quite a stir by using the word "cure" when they talk about their total therapy regimen.

"A recent study confirmed that the multi-drug regimen known as Total Therapy 3 (TT3) has a high response rate for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients."

Please understand that the definition in this case of the word "cure" is five year survival.

For anyone who reads this who does not have cancer or who has not suffered a heart attack. The link below is to a study at Brigham and Woman's Hospital and Harvard to study vit D and omega 3 supplementation. I offer joining the study because I think vit D and omega 3 supplementation is essential for us and I would join this study if I lived in New England and if I didn't have mm.
