Thalidomide ALONE does not cause DVT nor blood clots

Thalidomide + dex causes both, as does Revlimid (but to a reduce extent)

Thalidomide is NOT hard on the marrow.

Researchers from the University of Arkansas have reported that the addition of Thalomid (thalidomide) to autologous stem cell transplantation does not improve survival for patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma.
