When I was undergoing therapies like chemotherapy, radiation, etc. my HMO sent me E.O.B.'s regularly.  Much of this information angered me (out of network, experimental, service can be found in the network to name a few)  and I began to simply ignore the statements each month.

This turned out to be a HUGE mistake on my part.  My medical bills slowly built up over time and in retrospect, there were many things that I should have been doing to manage my bills.  David
