Website Migration Complete Posted 20080501

For all intents and purposes, the website migration is complete. We still have a couple minor things to complete, but normal functionality and aesthetics should be back to normal. As always, if you find that something is not as predicted, please post your comments here or to send an email.

We made a couple changes as follows:

  • We have temporarily removed the Curcumin Patient Study section of the website. We will be working to improve it and add additional patient studies in the next release.
  • We will no longer be sending out SDI emails the same way we used to! The ListServ Daily Digest email that is sent out every night is now becoming a Beating Myeloma website Daily Digest. If subscribed, you'll receive an email that notifies you to ALL Beating Myeloma content changes - Forum posts, SDI's, Articles added to the site, etc. If you were signed up to receive SDI's before, you'll no longer receive them until you activate the Daily Digest by visiting your User Notification Settings.
  • Due to the above mentioned Daily Digest modifications, we have removed the settings for subscribing to SDI (Selective Dissemination of Information) emails specifically. You can no longer subscribe to selected SDI threads. If you want to receive SDI's, you'll need to subscribe to the Beating Myeloma Daily Digest email through your user profile settings. To manage these new settings, please visit your User Notification Settings.
  • All members who had previously subscribed to the ListServ Daily Digest will still receive the regular digest as usual. The formatting has changed slightly. You may make a few changes to the way this email is formatted, what notifications you'll receive, and whether or not you receive the Daily Digest at all. To manage these new settings, please visit your User Notification Settings.

As always, if you find broken links, missing pages, or have any other website issues, please contact us immediately by posting a comment on this forum or by contacting us via email.

Thanks, Robert
